 part of your fertility evaluation will come in multiple steps.
First, we will evaluate the male partner to look at semen parameters.
And in specific cases, d n a fragmentation index of the sperm, we will then turn to the female partner will we will do ultrasound on the second or third day of the period, count the number of follicles, and also do a hormone analysis looking at follicle stimulating hormone ,extra dial, AMH and also TSH, which is your thyroid function,
Lastly, when patients present to the clinic, we will do single autosomal recessive gene testing for both the male and the female partner to help ensure that the baby will not be affected with any genetic disorders. That summarizes the basic fertility evaluation for patients that are coming internationally.
